I think the lessons to be learned from these two dramatic vignettes are two: there is such a thing as too hot, at least if one is not talking about women; and a slow hand is indeed a good thing, even if one is talking about fish.

The anglers made an obvious error. I did not see the devil's drink...yes the demon rum anywhere within reach of the angler. I have consumed this concoction on numerous occasions rendering me bulletproof and invisible...and thus immune to the assault of the black marlin.
